In March 2025, I was invited by Khun First the owner of Rai Puchat Homestay in northern Thailand to create a site-specific mural for their dining room. Given complete artistic freedom, I responded with Collision, a work exploring the meeting of ideas, memories and cultures.

During my stay at Rai Puchat Homestay, the owners approached me with an unexpected proposal: to transform the main wall of their dining room into a permanent artwork. There were no restrictions, no predefined theme, and no expectations beyond a simple invitation to create.
The result was Collision, a mural measuring 160 × 100 cm, executed in acrylic and oil stick directly on the wall.
The title reflects the creative process itself. Experiences, memories, places and emotions collided on the surface, gradually finding balance through gesture, colour and composition. Rather than illustrating a specific story, the mural invites viewers to discover their own connections within the work.
Creating a permanent painting in a place where people gather every day added a different dimension to my practice. It became more than a painting, it became part of the house, its atmosphere, and the conversations shared around it.
