Studio
Where the search continues.
Located in a restored eighteenth-century Valencian townhouse, the studio is a place of return, experimentation and ongoing search. Here, paintings are discovered through process and intuition before finding their place in the adjoining private viewing space.
Vision
Painting as Excavation
Dow Kok approaches painting as a process of excavation. Layers are built, disrupted and uncovered until something unexpected begins to emerge. The work is less about creating an image than discovering what survives.
Process
One Work Leads to Another
No single process is repeated. Materials shift, surfaces change and each painting finds its own direction. Across canvas, wood and handcrafted paper, images and ideas return in different forms, creating an ongoing search where every work becomes part of a larger conversation.
