Sometimes I close my Eyes.

Figurative

Sometimes I close my Eyes.

Year: 2024
Medium: Mixed media on canvas
Dimensions: Framed 150 x 190 cm
Location: Oliva, Valencia, Spain

A field of memories, sensations and half-formed images unfolds across the canvas. Circular forms emerge and disappear within layers of pink, grey and black, while drips and gestures suggest both movement and vulnerability. Balancing beauty with unease, ¨Sometimes I Close My Eyes¨ explores the uncertain territory between seeing and remembering, where emotion becomes more reliable than observation.
