"Portalheads I, The open psyche" The earliest stage of psychic formation, before a stable identity exists. The pinks and reds evoke flesh, blood, inner life. The three ovals read not as faces yet, but as zones of sensitivity. They are porous, unstable, and emotionally exposed. The surrounding marks feel like impulses, sensations, fragments of experience moving freely in and out of these spaces.
