Created on a reclaimed velvet photograph panel found at a flea market, Ghostriders explores absence, memory and the lingering trace of human presence. Dedicated to Francis Bacon, the work allows fragmented figures to emerge from a deep red field, suspended between appearance and disappearance. The painting transforms a discarded object into a psychological space where what remains is often more powerful than what has been lost. "Ghostriders" feels less like a painting that was made and more like an object that was found.
