Defining Moments I (Left Panel) In Defining Moments I, two contrasting yet interconnected surfaces hold fragments of structure, coded information and uncertain presences. Through repeated burial, rotation and excavation, recognisable forms are allowed to surface without fully revealing themselves. One panel carries the density of accumulated history; the other opens around a central form that appears simultaneously bodily, architectural and unknown. Marks, numbers and interrupted signals survive as evidence whose original meaning has been partially lost. The diptych does not illustrate a defining event. Instead, it explores how such moments remain embedded beneath the surface, altered, concealed and still unmistakably present.
