Abandon me

Year: 2026
Medium: Mixed media on canvas
Dimensions: Framed 67 x 76 cm
Location: Oliva, Valencia, Spain

Fragments of form emerge and dissolve within a layered field of pale tones, deep blacks and glowing reds. The painting explores absence, memory and the traces left behind when something or someone can no longer be fully grasped. Built upon a reused canvas, the work embraces the idea that nothing truly disappears. Earlier histories remain embedded beneath the surface, creating a tension between presence and loss. Suspended between abstraction and figuration, Abandon Me invites viewers into a space where memory lingers long after the image itself begins to fade.
